My son and I came for lunch today. I haven’t been here since before the pandemic, so I was unsure of what the lunch menu would be. Best of India continues to provide excellent food and service! I did order takeout over the years, but coming and sitting in the restaurant is the real treat. The service, as usual, is fantastic. The food is quick and the chai is FANTASTIC!
The lunch menu is a good format. As of this review, you can pick 2 or 3 curries. It was more than enough for 2 people. It also came with rice pudding and naan, although we did get extra.
St Louis Park has changed fundamentally from my childhood city; places like Best of India are what made Texa Tonka a unique spot in an otherwise suburban area. As Texa Tonka has changed, I’m so grateful that Best of India hasn’t; they haven’t needed to! The food has always been consistent and the service top notch. Please come visit if you’re around!

Amazing food and excellent service. Ramesh the owner is such an awesome host and chef. He got us amazing chai and dessert. Madrasi chicken and Garlic chicken curry were delicious. Flavors from back home.

Absolutely incredible food and flavors. I loved my chicken makhani (butter chicken) and my friends also enjoyed their food.

So incredibly good. We have been looking for a local, fresh, amazing Indian food and found the place. Delightfully warm and inviting inside. Clean and calm interior with unique flair.
The service was excellent t and attentive. Suggestions were perfect and the food. The food was superb. The teas were so flavorful and fresh. The spices were full of flavor and bursting with color. Served like you are feasting with royalty and can I say again, the flavors!!! Subtle, fresh, delightful. The best naan we may have ever had. Light and packed with taste. We had the perfect amount of everything and the price was inviting! Come in! You are welcome. Bring friends. Such a gem of a place and wonderful people. It will be our new regular spot. Lunch special that is truly special and a full menu worth exploring over and over.
