Went for brunch as had a gift card I needed to use First off this place is way overpriced for the quality of food and service it's supposed to be a "healthier" style restaurant but fell flat for me They have bottomless mimosas, 3 different flavors classic OJ,grapefruit and pineapple First off the menu states it's cheaper than it is $14 but the server told us ahead of time that was a mistake- with inflation the price has gone up to $18 but | don't think it was worth it - also they didn't taste good at all and not served in flutes either more like a water glass Huervos rancheros-this actually was tasty and a good size portion but over priced and then I tasted it the whole weekend so it didn't sit right-I think it was the chorizo Husband tried the chicken wrap - he said it was good but it comes with a side salad no other choices like chips etc so lots of salad in the wrap and on the plate We also shared the homemade biscuits - thinking we would get more than one- that was a little arkward and overpriced having to share just one with some runny jam? The interior is very inviting and they have a small bar-not many menu items tickle my fancy - would prob stop by the bar for HH or their patio if in the area but pass on the food

Went to Mill Valley Kitchen for our anniversary and it was a great pick. Started with the shrimp cocktail, then split the miso glazed seabass and the roasted half chicken — both beautifully plated and cooked just right. You can tell the ingredients are genuinely fresh, and the California-inspired menu feels light without skimping on flavor. The wine list leans heavily into Napa and Sonoma, which was a nice touch. Cozy but polished atmosphere, perfect for a date night. Service was warm and attentive the whole evening. Finished with a shared dessert and left very happy.

Very good food but I would like to have had basic Tabasco. One of their hot sauces had sugar and their version of Tabasco was green with additives. I altered their standard omelet of the day by asking for no bacon, but I still received some bacon (not as much as was in my husband's unaltered omelet order). Cappuccinos with plant milk are available, which is nice. The server was pleasant and responsive to requests. The place is pretty with lots of greenery. Not overly crowded on Sunday at noon. If you want to eat at a healthy place without a Sunday lunch rush, this restaurant is for you.

Made our first visit to this Rochester location of MVK. Lovely, open dining room that is very comfortable. Our waiter Terrence was great, he seemed deal very well with a “ high maintenance “customers seated nearby. The biggest draw is the food. I loved the Sea bass and my husband raved about the shrimp tacos. This will be our “ go to “ place in future visits to Rochester,

I came by myself, and it seems whenever I do that servers just don't know what to do.. This place was fairly busy, and I got seated immediately. I was greeted fairly quickly by the server, and she got my drink order (a nice botanical driven gin cocktail) this took about 10 minutes to arrive. I wasnt able to order food until after the cocktail arrived. I ordered the mussels as an appetizer and the wild mushroom flatbread for my entree. The muscles were good. There was a decent amount in the flavor was fantastic. It came with some bread, but was delivered quite cold. I did end up asking for some extra bread. (2$ extra on the menu 3$ extra on the bill. About 10 minutes after my muscles arrived, my flatbread arrived. This was awesome- gooey cheese delicious fresh mushrooms, not rubbery just plain great. And here's where things get frustrating- I would have ordered probably two glasses of wine with my entree but I never saw my server// she never came to check on me. She would go to every other table around me and avoid me. And she was busy, but I couldn't order anything more because she wasn't around. About 30 minutes later I was quite done with my meal and then my extra bread finally came. I asked for the check at that point. I would have liked to have dessert, I had 2 and 1/2 hours to kill but I was really frustrated with my service so I tabbed out and left. On the bright side, at least she comped the extra bread. I still left a 20% tip because I believe that's the right thing to do. But I will not be returning even if the food is good. Just because I come alone does not mean I don't deserve service. If you're too busy to look around, add a wait time. For the price per dish I expect better service.
